What did Serena Williams say to line judge in US Open?
September 13th, 2009 Aizat World Newswhat did serena williams say:
What did Serena Wiliams say to lineswoman? It is really shocked! I’ve always thought Serena Williams is extremely arrogant and a bad advertisement for women’s tennis, and she finally showed her true colors tonight in US Open. What did Serena Williams say is really beyond the ethic.
After Serena Williams being outplayed for most of the match by Kim Clijsters, Serena Williams threatened a line judge after after being called for a foot fault the point before match point and what did Serena Williams say?
Serena Williams was then given a point penalty after she was already warned during the match for racquet abuse, which of course means that she lost the match. After being foot faulted, Serena Williams apparently told the line judge. What did Serena Williams say to line judge?
Serena William said that she would ’shove her racquet down her throat’! She also apparently told the line judge that she would kill her. I am now utterly appalled and disgusted. Thats what Serena William say.
Serena Williams has shown the world tonight by what did Serena Williams say to line judge what I have always known she is. It was impossible to hear what Serena Williams said, but Serena Williams was waving her racquet in a very threatening way at the line judge.
The umpire then asked the line judge to come to the chair and tell her what happened. Then you could hear on the microphone Serena Williams saying that she did not say that she would kill the line judge. So that is pretty much a dead give away. Whatever she said it was something very threatening and she should not be allowed to get away with this. What did Serena WIlliams say is utterly unacceptable behavior and terrible for tennis. Serena Williams should be banned from tennis because of what did Serena William say is not profesional! I am so disgusted now I don’t even know what to tell you. No one will ever doubt what kind of person Serena Williams is ever again.

You blogged you are appalled. Are you really? Your comments sounded a little prejudice. How many times since the careers of the Williams sisters have you seen or heard of this type of behavior. I’d really like to know why is it when an African American makes a mistake society has to crucify them like Jesus was. When someone of another race does something as equally appalling or worse you never hear of it.You probably don’t even know how to play tennis let alone make it to professional tennis match that is televised worldwide. You probably have never even met this young lady let alone been in her presence to know how she is. Why don’t you get a life or create a new one via this Internet!!!
I am not prejudice. It just that what Serena Williams is not professional. I know Serena is a World Champion, no doubt, but as a professional she should be showing good behavior.
But if I am her, I would also blame the line judge because I am angry control by my emotion
Mrs. Jackson (any relation to Jesse “mouthpiece” Jackson?)
What Sarena did is what she did. NOWHERE have we read what color she is. Leave it to a fucking nigger like you to raise the racial thing!!
If it were me she said that to – she’d be brushing her teeth through her asshole! The only fucking people that bring up the race card in ANY situations are you black fucks!!
No sense in being a nigger if you can’t act like one, huh?
yes, although I welcome kim clijster’s comeback very much, I am also shocked of serena’s behaviour which was never shown or perhaps have never been shown before. the way she stormed and threatened the line judge was very unethical. a real show of true colours revealing the ugly side of the tennis icon.
“I swear to God I’ll fucking take this ball and shove it down your fucking throat! Do you hear me? I swear to God. You better be glad–you better be fucking glad that I’m not, I swear.”
I don’t think he’s a racist. I think all black who think is is are.
If there was any prejudice in this incident, it was displayed by Williams towards the Asian line judge. That being said, I think it’s more important to note who the “God” is that Williams speaks of when she makes her threatening remarks. She worships Jehovah, the same deity that the Jews praise in their Torah (first five books of the Old Testament), namely the “God of War”, “Prince of Darkness”, “Baal”, etc. Very telling indeed.

I’m sorry mrs. Jackson, but i am fo real
First of all, if you are an avid watcher of tennis, it is known that officials (line judges and the like), in critical matches, usually ignore foot fault infractions. Everybody tennis player does it, and in this instance, that Serena did it, of course, gets called by the judge. To you who says I’ve always thought Serena was arrogant – it’s the typical sexist thing, that if a woman complains, she’s a bitch, but if a man does it, hey go for it.
C’mon people, have you ever seen John McEnroe during his prime. He lost his temper innumerable times and he was not castigated as much as Serena is now. I’ve met Serena a few times after matches and she was not in the least bit arrogant. She took the time to talk to my kids and was fully engaged in asking them little tidbits about their lives. Give her some slack. That line judge over-reacted.
It seems to me that what Serena said to the line judge has yet to be confirmed, although it clearly must have been something quite unfavorable and unbecoming a World Champion Tennis player given that Serena was not willing to repeat it. Having said that, what happened here is that Serena, under inordinate pressure, lost her cool at the most inopportune moment in the match. It is very unfortunate as it cost her the game and may have come at an even higher price. We are living in an overly punitive society and it saddens me to hear people watching others from the sidelines (in tennis and in life) who have overcome incredible obstacles to attain success in their careers be so quick to decide that one should be fired from their job or in this case, banned from tennis. It is true that John McEnroe had an incredible temper, and also true that he was never penalized to this extent and likely never referred to with the “F” word in front of his ancestry. If she did make the comments referenced here, then I think she lost the match for herself. I am saying this as a HUGE Serena (and Venus) Williams fan. What I find most appalling is the disrespect toward one’s race that has been communicated here by Jimi P. Clearly, he has yet to familiarize himself with the character and intestinal fortitude it takes to become a World Champion tennis player, let alone do it while being an African-American WOMAN who is under constant scrutiny for her body, her style, her weight, and her attitude. She now has one more obstacle to overcome, which I am sure she will, following which she will win again!! For Jimi P, the future does not looks so bright. The obstacles he faces are his own ignorance and hatred, which are likely reflected in those with whom he surrounds himself so he will never have the experience of being enriched by others unlike himself.
Bridget,
Thank you for such a great comment, as a caucasian man in america, I am truly appalled by the comments of Jimi P. He certainly showed his ignorance, there is no place in society for people like him.

Serena should be banned from tennis – permanently. Her behaviour is a disgrace to her country, her race, her president. America needs to set good example for the younger generation.
It is very unfortunate that Serena displayed this type of behavior during the match and I definitely don’t condone her remarks or behavior; however as many of you have stated many athletes have done or said worse things and nothing ever comes of it. We do live in a double standard world when it comes to race in America and the playing field is yet to be balanced; she made a mistake, so let’s move on.
As for Jimi P. my prayers go out to you because you are obviously a person that is hurting as well, hurting from ignorance, proper education and the need to accept that fact that all races can exist together without resorting to racist comments. May God touch your heart and make you realize that the light is on, so you can come out of the dark ages because the things that you said are much worse than what Serena said and additionally sheds light on the theory of double standards in America.
i like what she did…
manny- you’re a tool and an idiot!
Lauren Fiore said the line judge over-reacted.
No Ms Fiore, Serenna was the one who over-reacted in a most inappropriate fashion.
There should be no sexist or racist spin on this whatsoever.
The line judge did her job and made a call, albeit questionable. Serena lost it and spoke to her in a most threatening manner. As I was watching it I have to admit I was fearful for the woman. Here is this personn twice her size wielding a weapon (racquet) screaming at her in a most menacing way.
And you say the line judge overreacted?? Aren’t we being a little dishonest here?
i agree with Luerich. this is not the issue of race. Even if a white sexy woman does the same thing, she will also be slacked off for such an unruly behaviour and may even lose some of her fans. however i still think Serena should have some sense than attacking the line judge in such a menacing way. A question arises here is, what if the line judge is of her origin (i am not trying to be racist here) but just a thought. Would the same thing happen? I think it would still happen but not in that manner. I just have a hunch on this.
L Fiore is right. Foot faults are rarely called most surprising is calling a foot fault when the outcome of the match is at stake. Now this kid is put in the position of apologozing over and over. What she must learn and use his her guide is that as ablack American she will never have the priviledge of playing on a level tennis court.
she still a beast and my roll model
