Nashville Police have found out that the gun used in the shooting deaths of Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi was purchased just two days before the shootings happened. Steve McNair was shot and died at young age, 36 years old, and long way to go for Steve McNair.

From autopsy showed that Steve McNair was shot four times, and Sahel Kazemi was shot once, but bloodstains were found in the apartment on the couch where cops think Steve McNair was killed. The carpet in front of the couch is where they think Sahel Kazemi landed after she was shot. According to the Tennessean newspaper, these blood stains can still be seen, but the belongings in the apartment were few and far between with only some liquor bottles and men’s sneakers found there.

Investigators are currently treating the scene as a murder-suicide, but that is still not their official statement on the matter. Kazemi was the owner of the gun used, which she bought from a private owner on the Thursday before she and McNair died.

It is not known if McNair’s wife, Mechelle, knew anything about his relationship with Kazemi, and court records do not show any pending split.

McNair’s family home is up for sale for $3 million, but they were apparently just looking for a new family home together. More information is going to be available this week.

Steve McNair Funeral Memorial Service

There will be a public Memorial for Steve McNair on Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Nashville. The Steve McNair Funeral viewing will be at 8:30 AM to 1:30 pm at Lewis Wright Funeral Home. Furthermore, the second viewing will be at Mount Zion Baptist Church from PM to 7 PM at the same day. Surely, his friends will come to see him there in Nashville.

A second Steve McNair Funeral service will be at Hattiesburg, Miss. on the Campus of the University of Southern Mississippi which will start at 11:00 AM.
