Meloded Hanes (photo) was nominated by U.S. Senator Max Baucus for U.S Attorney position. In 2008 summer Baucus and Melodee Haness (photo) began their relation. Melodee Hanes (photo) was working for Max Baucus in 2002, as his state director before leaving his office earlier this year for a position in the U.S. Department of Justice. But during the nominations, Melode Hanes (photo) withdrew her name because the couple wants to live together in Washington.

According to the statement:

“After much reflection … because they wanted to live together in Washington, D.C.,”

Ty Matsdorf said in a statement to main justice that:

“Senator Max Baucus is currently in a mature and happy relationship with Melodee Hanes (photo). They are both divorced, and in no way was their relationship the cause of their respective divorces,”

President Barack Obama nominated Helena attorney Michael Cotter for the U.S. Attorney position. Melodee Hanes (photo) and Max Baucus both ended their marriages last year and now living happily in Washinghton. Thomas Bennett, Melodee Hanes (photo) ’s ex husband said:

“She was recommended for the position because of a very close and personal relationship with Max Baucus and she withdrew because of a very close and personal relationship with Max Baucus,”

Melodee Hanes (photo) is now acting Deputy Administrator for Policy in the Justice Department’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and she is very happy on his relation with Max Baucus.
