Locator or locater you can differentiate between these two words. But Google seems to confuse between locator or locater.
While i was searching the meaning of Locater then Google suggestion for me was that : “Did you mean Locator“. Then I click on Locator the right spelling and found lots of information.
According to Dictionary Locator mean “a person who locates something” or “a person who determines or establishes the boundaries of land or a mining claim”
According to my knowledge Locator is frequently used word in internet surfing to search the Store locator of any famous shopping mall, mobile company, internet provider company for example : At&t, Apple, wal-mart, Verizon, Staples and much more.
Between locator and locater, locator is the correct spelling. In fact, if you type locater in Google , it mostly corrects and assumes you are using the keyword Locator. So, Locator or locater really depends.
