Husalah is an original member of Mob Figaz, and very popular in the West Coast underground. Husalah is known for his dark and gritty style. Among Husalah popular song include Cuttin’ It Up and Feel Me Loc. In early 2006, it was known that Husalah would be off the street for a long time and unavailable for performance bookings.

Husalah’s MySpace claims he is James Ratliff. Before the rumor Husalah was dead in prison, Husalah is in a correctional institution in San Pedro, Calif. A commentator mentioned Husalah would be doing time for 5 years as from 2006. On Husalah’s twitter, Husalah only update once and Husalah said to his fan to wait him home.
