I just feel sad for Danielle’s daughters Christine & Jillian. They seem like such precious girls and one can only imagine how they are being tormented at school and by their peers. How sad. A walk in their neighborhood alone must be torture for them. Regardless of what their mom did, I hope and pray that they will weather the storm. Family is everything and these girls should not be the subject of discussion by anyone other than their parents.

I don’t know what’s up with the self-rightous attitude of bashing Danielle for defending herself from the hipocresy of the two sisters. What’s laughable is that they make such a big deal of “the book” being placed on the table, but they all swing the “f” word right and left in front of the kids. Isn’t that sex talk in front of the kids? The “f” word is the real sex so why the sanctimonious attitude. Danielle does not sugar=coat who she is. She displayed more class than the two sisters. Jackie is so kind hearted. Beneath all that self-control, it’s obvious that she is a force to be reckoned with. You go girl!

On another tone, what’s up with the large sums of “cash”. I thought no one paid with “green” anymore! (hello, debit/credit cards?)

Yeah, It takes a real different “class” of person…to kidnap someone, not feed them for days, beat them and hold them for ransom.
She should have gone to jail. Instead she is running around in Franklin lakes living the good life.

Just read the book “Cop Without A Badge” and the parts about Beverly Merrill aka Danielle Staub are vague and in bits and pieces of course. No one really knows what happened but the people that were there at the time. This book is an account of one mans, Kevin Mahers, perception and rememberance of HIS life. Not saying that this Beverly/Danielle is innocent or guilty of anything, just that there is always two sides to every story. Good book by the way, love true stories and this one was gripping in some sense and kept me coming back to read more chapter after chapter. I would like to read more about some of the people in the book as well.
