Asus Eee PC: Excellence in Mobility

Aizat Computer, Hardware

E for Everyone

Eee PC GreenThe main issue when we talked about the (pronounced as “E” PC, and not “E, E, E” PC) is of course its tiny size. Weighing less than 1 kg and measuring half the length of an A4 paper, it’s certainly one of the smallest “full-fledged” in our hands. And despite its rather lightweight specifications, the powered device run smoothly without quirks or oddities which usually plague the smaller form factors. Eee PC makes a debut and had been sold all over the world while Makcik PC, the Malaysian made PC is the contender of Eee PC has not been announced yet when it will be available on market? I am pretty sure that will be more affordable to buy for Malaysian rather than Eee PC.

E for Enticing the Eye

Encased in a pearly-white body the looks clean and simple yet distinct enough to catch the eye. Not a fan of white? Don’t worry because Eee PC comes in galaxy black and other colors such as fancy blush pink, sky blue, and lush green. But the most enticing factor of the Eee PC is its comfortable keyboard layout which surprisingly does not feel cramp at all. The Eee PC ’s charger is shaped to look closer like a mobile phone charger than the bulky PC adapter kinds.

Last time I saw in Amazon, it sell about $399. So the price in Lowyat not much different from online

But the downside is the size of HDD, only 4GB. 4GB is a like 10 years ago PC, when it was initially introduced

One of my friend bought it. Its cramped, underpower and battery life of 3 hours (too short). If you really think about buying a small and good laptop, get the latest 12 inch dell, its about RM2400 if I’m not mistaken.
