4 Body Demons in Your Life
January 22nd, 2008 Shaz General, Tips, WomenI came across of this interesting thingy which i feel great to share with all. It’s about 4 body demons in our life which i guess most of us do not realize about it. Or more precisely, i can say it “How Does Your Body Score”? Of course friends and family want the best for us- but what if they’re unintentionally bringing us down? Time to get tough with love and stand up for our self esteem.
- BODY DEMON: YOUR FRIENDS Surely your friends would never make you feel bad about the way you look?Well..not deliberately i guess..They probably the most likely person who didn’t seem pleased with the change in you. She’d criticise how you looked and tease you about your new image and it really started to wear you down. Most of them do it because most of it stems from their own lack of confidence. And the easiest way to make herself feel better is to dish out a few snide comments. How to exorcise their demon? Well..Honesty is the only way to conquer this demon. By making herself feel great too and boosting her self-esteem, she won’t feel the need to trash you.
- BODY DEMON: YOUR BOYFRIEND Sometimes when you expected your man to encourage you in terms of something like working out in your gym sessions, it may turn the other way round. They even tried to sabotage your fitness routine! Can you believe it?I totally agree with that because for a lot of men, it’s a control issue. Some men like to feel like they’re in charge of things, and that can include their girlfriends. So, if the woman in their life suddenly starts doing something different, they may feel threatened. It’s always about the male ego! How to exorcise their demon? If a boyfriend makes you feel bad about yourself, then the first thing to do is analyse whether you want to be with someone who makes you feel that way.
- BODY DEMON: YOUR MOM Ever think that your mom can be a part of demon in your life?Yes, our mum’s an angel, but she’s probably the most likely person to be brutally honest about how you look. Why do they do it? Firstly, seeing us growing up and creating our own life is tough, as they don’t want to be redundant; they’re just trying to re-establish their roles as the one that knows best. How to exorcise their demon? Explain to them that you are an adult now but reassure her you still need her in your life.
